BPD and sex

BPD relationships, BPD, love

BPD can have a major impact on your sex life

Reckless sex-this occurs because of the BPD persons symptom of impulsivity. Intense sadness, fear, jealousy, or positive emotions may also lead to this

Promiscuity-they may use sex to combat feelings of emptiness

Wanting sex constantly-this may lead to reckless or indiscriminate sex

Never feeling sexual-everybody with BPD is different, and this can occur as often as the above situation

Alternating between wanting sex constantly and not wanting it at all

Using sex to fill an emotional void or get validation

Only being able to have casual sex

Only being able to have sex in a committed relationship

Feeling intense rejection when their partner dosen't want to have sex or dosen't orgasm

Being unfaithful

Dissociating while having sex

Being afraid of sex

Jumping into sexual relationships too quickly
